Facsimile Cabinet of Women Origin Stories

I was invited by the Lunder Institute for American Art to write a response to my experience interacting with Theaster Gates’s Facsimile Cabinet of Women Origin Stories, which debuted in the U.S. at the Colby College Museum of Art in 2019. I thought about flying; sight reading; voids; and order.
